Alas, that assumption turned out true.<\/p>\n
Build 2118, and build 2116 for that matter, introduce no new features in Visual Assist.\u00c2\u00a0If you have Visual Studio 2017 RC, install build 2118. If you are using any other IDE, you need build 2118 only if you encounter any of the few esoteric bugs the two recent builds\u00c2\u00a0address.<\/p>\n
If you follow news about\u00c2\u00a0Visual Studio 2017 RC, you will discover\u00c2\u00a0that\u00c2\u00a0a few improvements to its C++ IDE<\/a> are strikingly similar to features in Visual Assist, albeit essentially\u00c2\u00a0decade-old ones: filtering of member lists, improved Find All References, Go To All, and Dot-to-Arrow.
