Clone the results window so you can invoke additional Find References without overwriting your original results.<\/p>\n You can identify a cloned window by its title and lack of \u201cHighlight All\u201d checkbox.<\/p>\n If you plan extensive modifications to the code surrounding your target references, make sure \u201cAllow navigation to stale results\u201d is enabled in the context menu of your cloned results window. The setting tells Visual Assist to jump to locations even if you\u2019ve already removed the references from them. (Without the setting, Visual Assist places you to the top of a target file when it can\u2019t locate a reference.)<\/p>\n Double-click or select entries to jump to references, and\u00c2\u00a0review or rework your code as necessary.<\/p>\n Mark entries \u201cdone\u201d by deleting them from your cloned results window. And don\u2019t fret, \u201cdeleting\u201d doesn\u2019t modify your source.<\/p>\n Refresh the cloned results window only if you make extensive changes to your source and you\u2019re not deleting entries.
