{"id":84,"date":"2009-01-22T02:32:31","date_gmt":"2009-01-22T02:32:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.wholetomato.com\/?p=84"},"modified":"2014-05-21T19:16:25","modified_gmt":"2014-05-21T19:16:25","slug":"support-for-incomplete-solutions-va-x-105","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stage.wholetomato.com\/blog\/support-for-incomplete-solutions-va-x-105\/","title":{"rendered":"Support for Incomplete Solutions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Several members of the Whole Tomato Software crew attended the Seattle <a href=\"http:\/\/www.xnagamefest.com\/\">XNA Gamefest<\/a> held back in July.\u00c2\u00a0 It was a great opportunity for us to get face time with quite a few of our customers.\u00c2\u00a0 We received a lot of feedback some of which has bubbled up in VA X 10.5.<\/p>\n<p>We learned that many Visual Studio users only work in the IDE for editing and debugging but not for doing builds.\u00c2\u00a0 Because it is not being used for builds, people are working with solutions that are empty or are incomplete, adhoc file collections.<\/p>\n<p>To address editing and navigation productivity in these scenarios, we have added optional support for directory based file discovery.
